Learn About YQL: July 28th Meeting

I know that we said you would learn about YQL (Yahoo Query Language), last month, but this time we mean it. For real. Seriously. On July 28th, Nate DiNiro will be giving us an overview of YQL, which is a little like Yahoo Pipes on steroids where you can construct queries that essentially select * from internet source. I’ve seen it used to do screen scraping for web pages without a feed and to pull data easily from various web services. It’s a powerful tool that is worth learning. We also have space for another topic, so let us know if you have something that you want to add to the agenda.
